Youth Outreach and STEM Education
Welcome! The ASCE Philadelphia YMF K-12 Outreach team partners up with locals schools, educators, and organizations in the greater Philadelphia area to facilitate student learning about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields including Civil Engineering. Our goal is to create opportunities by providing resources for curriculum support and hands-on learning. With each event and student we work with, we hope to broaden their minds with new career possibilities, sharpen problem solving skills, and encourage teamwork.
Some of the schools and organizations we have partnered with in the past are listed below:- • John H Taggart School
- • J.R. Masterman School
- • Samuel Fels High School
- • Potter Thomas Elementary School
- • Plymouth Whitemarsh High School
- • Hillcrest Elementary School
- • Girls Inc.
- • Ad Prima Charter School
We are always looking for more volunteers to get involved and for new schools or organizations to partner with.
If interested in volunteering or having ASCE join an event please email us at ASCEPhilaYMFK12@gmail.com!
Sincerely,
