  • The Pavilion - Penn Medicine Construction Tour & Technical Presentation
    Thursday, December 5, 2019

Join us for a construction tour of the Pavilion, an innovative health care facility that will support Penn Medicine’s world-renowned researchers, clinicians, and faculty. The pavilion will house 500 private patient rooms and 47 operating rooms in a 1.5 million square foot, 17-story facility across from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and adjacent to the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. This is Penn’s largest capital project to date at an estimated $1.5 billion construction cost. Representatives from LFDriscoll and Balfour Beatty Joint Venture will guide the tour and offer information on the construction process. The construction tour will occur from 3:00-5:30 PM.

Attendees are required to bring their own hard hats, safety vests, and boots.

Join us after the tour for a networking social at New Deck Tavern (3408 Sansom St). Attendees of the networking social must be 21+ to purchase or consume alcohol.

Please RSVP by November 22nd. Attendance is limited to 30 people (first come, first served). This event is free. Please see the flyer for additional information.

  • Annual Winter Social
    Monday, January 13, 2020

Join us for our Annual Winter Social at McGillin's Olde Ale House on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. This annual event is our biggest event of the year, drawing nearly 200 young civil engineers from the Philadelphia area! Don't miss out on the annual charity raffle! Last year the YMF gave away over $1,000 of company-donated prizes and raised over $4,000 for local charitable organizations and STEM initiatives.

The cost of the event is $30 with RSVP. The ticket price includes food and beverages (beer, house wine, well drinks and soda). You must be 21 and over to attend. There will be a cap at 180 tickets.

Please see the flyer for additional information.

Please RSVP for the event by Monday, January 6, 2020. No walk-in tickets will be provided! There will be no refunds given for this event.
