On Saturday, April 27th, the Philadelphia Section in collaboration with the Philadelphia YMF held a College Scavenger Hunt as part of the ongoing 100th Anniversary event series. The College of New Jersey, Temple University, and Drexel University undergraduate civil engineering students came ready to compete wearing their school colors proud. The two and half hour long scavenger hunt was both fun and challenging as the teams were given clues in order to find different locations across Center City in which they had to take a group photo and answer questions about historical civil engineering landmarks. The teams had to then get the film developed in order to find out that the final location and finish line was at the Franklin Institute.
All teams did an excellent job and said they had a blast. The Drexel Dragons came ready to compete and ran through most of the scavenger hunt getting all of the photos, answering almost all of the questions correctly, and taking the cash prize. Thanks to all of the students that participated and all who volunteered in organizing this exciting adventure!
