ASCE Philadelphia Section YMF President, Kazi Hassan along with College Contact Co-Chair Kevin Brown, spoke with The College of New Jersey's (TCNJ) ASCE student chapter on Monday, February 20, 2013 about the YMF and how it can benefit students. Kevin presented a power point slideshow that was created by college contact co-chair Colette Montague. The presentation summarized the structure of ASCE and Philadelphia YMF. It also highlighted various events the YMF recently hosted. Kazi and Kevin encouraged the students to attend all Philadelphia Section events whether it's hosted by YMF or the Section.
TCNJ is located in Ewing, NJ and they are covered under ASCE Central Jersey Branch. Philadelphia YMF gave the students contact information for the Younger Member Group in Central Jersey.
Kazi and Kevin stuck around to answer the student's questions. The students and faculty advisor were kind enough to give both speakers a tour of TCNJ's engineering facilities.
