Colette Montague, Jeremy Chrzan, Nikki Eno, and Eammon Farley visited Drexel University on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 6:00 pm to speak with civil engineering and architectural engineering students about the YMF, the benefits of getting involved with a professional society such as the YMF, and to encourage students to join ASCE. Colette delivered a presentation to approximately 20 students outlining the different activities the YMF is involved with, benefits of joining, and how to get involved. The presentation was followed by approximately 30 minutes of question & answer/general discussion. Colette also discussed the 100th anniversary scavenger hunt and Drexel agreed that April 27th would work best for them and that they tentatively agreed to participate if the event is scheduled for that day. Students offered some good ideas for the critical issues seminar and also some ideas for future events.
