In early May the YMF again participated in the CANstruction event. The theme chosen by the YMF this year was "Candle for the Hungry". The entry was a huge success as the YMF raised over 13,000 pounds of food for Philabundance (nearly 1/3 total) and secured a huge sponsor donation from the generous Campbell Soup Company. At the Gala in The Shops at Liberty Place, the YMF won an award for "Best Meal"...one of the judges was quoted as saying, "Now that just looks tasty."
