On March 26th, 2012, the YMF took part in McCall Women’s Career Day, an event organized and hosted by General George A. McCall Elementary School in Philadelphia. Over 30 Career Women participated at the event and spent the day talking with students (grades 6, 7, 8) and answering questions about what their jobs entail. YMF members Cathy G. Farrell and Adrienne A. Nikolic participated at the event and used the opportunity to explain to the students the important role that civil engineering plays in our world and how fun and fulfilling a career in civil engineering can be.
