Construction Tour - Route 29

On November 1, 2011, the YMF coordinated a construction tour of the all-electronic (E-ZPass only) interchange for the Route 29 corridor at Milepost 320 between the existing interchanges at Downingtown #312 and Valley Forge #326. This PA Turnpike slip ramp is a major connection for this developed corridor. With multiple bridges, significant grading, and difficult soil conditions, this tour showcased numerous engineering challenges and solutions. Below are a few pictures from the event:
