Construction Tour & HH - Schuylkill River Trail

On Tuesday, November 15, 2011, the YMF coordinated a tour of the Schuylkill River Trail Connector Bridge, under construction by Rockport Construction Company, Inc., in conjunction with the Schuylkill River Development Corporation (SRDC) and the Philadelphia Streets Department. The project, which includes modular retaining wall ramps and cast-in-place concrete ramps along with a pre-fabricated steel bridge truss structure, is another major step in completing the 130 mile-long Schuylkill River Trail master plan. Following the tour, attendees visited a local bar for appetizers and refreshments. Below are a few pictures from the event:
