June, 2008 - Phillies Game

   
In recent YMF happenings, on June 4th the Philadelphia YMF teamed up with the Delaware and South Jersey YMF chapters to go see the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Cincinnati Reds. Ninety three tickets were sold for the event and there was so much interest, a waiting list to receive tickets was even created. The YMF members not only got a promotional Jimmy Rollins bobble head for attending the game, but the seats in the scoreboard porch also included a concession credit.

Although there was a strong thunderstorm prior to the game, it did not hold anyone back from the YMF sponsored tailgate. Roughly 50 YMF members enjoyed socializing and eating the hotdogs, chips, soda and water provided by the local YMF chapters. A fifty fifty raffle was held to raise money for the 2009 ERYMC convention to be held in Cherry Hill.
